JGA provides consulting services to private equity firms and companies in disciplines including M&A operational due diligence, strategy, culture, business intelligence, talent management and marketing. JGA also offers executive and human potential coaching to entrepreneurs and leadership team executives, and is a certified Human Potential Coach.
INVEST
JGA provides private equity, venture capital and angel capital to highly differentiated and scalable private businesses, and has a portfolio of eighteen active private company investments. JGA also has several investments in venture capital, private equity and hedge funds.
For selected investments, JGA serves in advisory or board roles.
IMPACT
Gordman currently serves as the chair of the board of New York City-based Inheritance Theater Project, a national social impact organization engaged in community bridge-building. He previously served as Chair of the Retail Development Committee of the Omaha Chamber’s Economic Development Council and was co-Chair of the ADL Great Plains Region. Gordman earned his Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation in 2019.
Jeff Gordman has nearly two decades of experience as CEO of a uniquely positioned apparel and home fashions retailer, during which he led a successful turnaround and repositioning strategy, a rapid growth plan, a sale to a private equity firm, and initial and secondary public offerings. Previous to his retailing career, Jeff was a Wall Street investment banker in mergers and acquisitions. Jeff currently serves as an independent director on the boards of two private companies and a public company, two of which operate in the consumer space, prior to which he served on other venture capital, private equity and angel capital-backed boards.
